This individual will serve as a Level 2 PeopleSoft Applications DBA/Administrator, providing database and technical support in PeopleSoft Applications version 8.0 or higher. This individual is responsible for maintaining and updating the landscape architecture, ensuring the health of the systems and databases, ensuring the operational run books are accurate and maintained, performing overall daily management of PeopleSoft applications environment, and performing operational tasks and activities (e.g., clones, database refreshes, patching, performance tuning, batch scheduling, etc.). This individual will be responsible for overall PeopleSoft Application administration regarding web, application servers, underlying middleware, and configuration management. This individual will be heavily involved in the initial environment build for new client projects, so strong skills in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture and previous installation experience is strongly desired. This individual will be responsible for owning the process of implementing PeopleSoft application updates and fixes, patch bundles, legal updates, etc. The Apps DBA will manage, configure, and monitor the Control-M batch scheduling application.
