Duties include providing daily back-up to the Chief Financial Officer in all areas of Financial Services; participating in negotiations for economic development incentive packages; providing analysis of TIF ability to assist in development incentives; researching and calculating developer reimbursements; and monitoring property values in the TIF District and maintaining related databases. Duties also include providing back-up to the Treasury Supervisor in investment and cash management; preparing contracts, agenda items and other documents; participating in, and making presentations to, a variety of City and professional groups; and serving as primary liaison to appraisal district. Duties will require meticulous attention to detail and excellent analytical and presentation skills. A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field and a minimum of five years accounting experience, as well as two years supervisory experience, required. Real estate or property tax experience or training and Texas CPA license preferred. Must have knowledge of principles and practices of accounting, and TIF laws and regulations; and advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Hours include some evenings and weekends.
