Duties include performing lifeguarding tasks as required by certifying agencies; conducting instructional programs; and providing assistance with pool chemical monitoring and facility cleaning. Duties may require lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Must be at least 16 to be hired, be able to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance, and have six months lifeguarding experience. Current Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR certification is required. Must also have, or obtain within three months from date of hire, AED, O2 and disease transmission prevention certificates. Hours may vary and will include evenings and weekends.
