Duties include designing, installing, repairing and maintaining hardware and software related to various wireless communications networks; and providing technical support to end-users. An Associate’s degree, or equivalent, in electronics or a related field and two years of experience in RF / Wireless / Microwave Communications are required. Experience with Fiber Optics beneficial. Must have the ability to evaluate customer input in order to identify and devise effective solutions to communications networks problems. Knowledge of MS Office, Windows Operating Systems, radio programming software and communications test equipment is helpful; EDACS Master Technician and FCC license preferred. Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Class C Texas driver’s license and be able to respond to after-hours emergency calls.
