Duties include providing leadership, and technical and safety guidance, to crew members; answering questions and providing information to the public; preparing a variety of reports; assuring that an adequate stock of supplies and materials is maintained; and installing, maintaining and repairing sanitary sewer mains and services, and manholes and cleanouts, or water mains and services, valves and fire hydrants. A high school diploma or GED and two years increasingly responsible experience performing water and wastewater maintenance (including equipment operation duties) required. Must have a valid Class A CDL Texas driver’s license and currently possess TCEQ-issued Class C Water and Collection II Wastewater licenses. Day, evening or night shift may be available. Will work in the stand-by repair crew rotation as required.
