Essential Job Functions
1. Troubleshoot all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking.
2. Install and update desktops, laptops, PDAs, peripherals, networks devices and software
3. Provide assistance on the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
4. Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or email
5. Research questions using available information resources
6. Follow standard help desk procedures (ie log all helpdesk interactions)
7. Identify, escalate, redirect problems which requiring urgent or specific attention
8. Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
9. Prepare activity reports
10. Write user documentation and internal knowledgebase articles
11. Other duties as assigned
Experience and Educational Requirements
1. 1 year of experience with PC and networking hardware (NIC cards, wireless access points)
2. 1 year of working with networking experience (IP, Windows networking)
3. 1 year of supporting end user phones (POTS, cell phones and VOIP)
4. 1 years of experience of supporting Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
5. 1 year of experience of call tracking or helpdesk applications
6. Must have written user documentation for support purposes
