Name: Irving ISD Job & Volunteer Fair - May 6
Description: Irving ISD will be hosting a graduate summer job and volunteer fair from 3-6 p.m. May 6 at Lively Pointe Youth Center. IISD is presenting the job fair in collaboration with Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, City of Irving - Lively Pointe Youth Center and Irving Public Library.
The event, now in its third year, is designed to help graduating IISD high school students locate part-time employment, or volunteer opportunities, during the summer and while they attend college. Admission is free and open to the public.
Companies with job opportunities available are encouraged to register for the job fair. Non-profit agencies located in Irving are also invited to participate. Exhibit space is free of charge, and businesses wanting to reserve space should contact Thelma Cantu, partnerships in education coordinator, at 972-600-5017 or via email to partnerships@irvingisd.net.
Lively Pointe Youth Center is located at 909 North O’Connor Road, across from Irving High School.
