Singley Mock Trial Wins Distinguished Delegation

Irving, Texas. February 13, 2018 –

Congratulations to the Singley Academy Mock Trial Club for being named a Premier Delegation at the Texas Youth and Government State Conference for the third consecutive year. Special kudos goes to senior Ruht Lovos (fourth from right), who was awarded the Outstanding Delegation Leader designation. Singley sent 32 teams to the state capitol to compete in six trials January 25-28. The Youth and Government program, sponsored by the YMCA, provides students the opportunity to act as legislators by writing, presenting, discussing and, hopefully, having their bills passed by delegations from around the State.
