Man Drives SUV Into 40-Foot Hole in Irving

Irving, Texas. February 19, 2018 –

According to the Irving Fire Department, they responded to the crash site a little before 11:00 pm on friday night.   They found a man trapped in a utility hole on the 800 block of Oakdale in South Irving.  Fire crews used a ladder truck to reach the man that had driven his SUV into the 40-foot hole.

The driver said he did not see the fence barricade surrounding the hole.  Amazingly, he only had minor injuries.
