Local Comedians: Enter Comedy Showcase

Irving, Texas. July 11, 2019 –

Local up-and-coming comedians have the opportunity to vie for the title of Irving's Funniest Comic at this year's Laughs by the Lake. Selected participants will perform their funniest five-minute set on stage, where the audience will vote live for their favorite entertainer. The winner walks away with the title and cash prize!

Interested comics need to submit an entry form and a link to a four- to seven-minute, clean stand-up set. Submissions will be reviewed by staff. The deadline to enter is July 23. Laughs by the Lake will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 23 at Levy Plaza, 501 E. Las Colinas Blvd.
