University of Dallas Announces 2020 Gupta Hall of Fame Inductees |
Irving, Texas. January 15, 2020 –
The University of Dallas’ Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business is honored to announce its 2020 Hall of Fame inductees, including Gail Warrior Suchy, MBA ’99, CEO of CASPR Group; Michael Stedman Wyatt, MBA ’91, executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield of Texas; and John L. Zogg, Jr., MBA ’92, managing director at Crescent Real Estate LLC. New Gupta Hall of Fame members will be inducted during the annual award ceremony on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, from 6-8 p.m.
Established in 2015, the Gupta Business Hall of Fame recognizes, honors and celebrates outstanding business leaders who have achieved significant success in their chosen fields and embody the spirit of the college of business.
With more than 25 years of success in the health and wellness, executive coaching, construction and oil industries, Gail Warrior Suchy serves as CEO of CASPR Group, which offers indoor surface and air purification solutions to eliminate pathogens such as mold, bacteria and other infection-causing agents such as MRSA and C. diff from commercial environments. Prior to leading CASPR Group, she founded Warrior Group, a commercial general contracting firm that she developed into one of the country’s largest woman/minority-owned contractors and leading experts in permanent modular construction.
Warrior is an inspirational leader, entrepreneur, certified health and lifestyle coach, and nationally recognized speaker, particularly for women. She also founded and developed Warrior360Way and Warrior Elements, a lifestyle company that sells athleisure wear to women and offers a lifestyle coaching program. Both programs are aimed at helping individuals navigate their journeys to a healthier life, complementing the company’s commitment to helping women aspire to greatness in every aspect of their lives. Warrior received her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Clark Atlanta University and her MBA from the University of Dallas, and she most recently served as moderator for the university’s 2019 fall semester Women in Business Leadership Panel: Elevating Entrepreneurship.
A prominent figure in the Dallas commercial real estate market, Michael Stedman Wyatt serves as executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield and has completed deals amounting to over $6.7 billion during the span of his career. He is an active community volunteer, serving in board and participatory roles with the University of Dallas, Klyde Warren Park, the Texas State Fair Livestock Auction and Scholarship Committee, S.M. Wright Christmas in the Park, and Preservation Dallas. Wyatt actively advocates for the promotion of conservation efforts of the Trinity River and is the founder of The Urban Armadillos, an organization supporting Preservation Dallas that created the first self-guiding urban mobile trail app through the city’s central business district highlighting the downtown architecture, places and culture of Dallas.
A few years after receiving his University of Dallas MBA, Wyatt launched TEAMNUTS, a male cancer advocacy organization, raising more than $1.5 million for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University and is a 2007 recipient of the University of Dallas Distinguished Alumni Award.
John Zogg currently serves as the managing director of asset management for Crescent Real Estate LLC, where he oversees leasing and asset management of Crescent’s five-million-square-foot portfolio located in Texas and Colorado. Zogg has held several senior-level positions at multiple real estate firms, including vice president of Rosewood Property Company and marketing manager at Gerald D. Hines Interests. In total, he has managed more than 30 million square feet of office space across the United States throughout his career. He received his MBA from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is a founding member of the advisory council for the Center for Real Estate Finance at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business and is also a founding board member and original visionary of the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, which operates and manages Klyde Warren Park. Zogg was instrumental in rallying support for the $110 million public-private partnership that led to the park’s formation. In 2016, Zogg shared his insight and knowledge while presenting at the university’s TIE: Real Estate Lecture Series.
