After Flooding Recedes Campion Trail Reopens

Irving, Texas. July 10, 2020 –

After weeks of closure, flood waters have receded from north Campion Trail. Irving Parks and Recreation will reopen the closed sections of trail from Spring Park to California Crossing (to the construction site) on Friday, July 10. 

The reopened sections include these parks:

• Spring Trail Park, 5964 Riverside Drive
• Bird’s Fort Trail Park, 5756 Riverside Drive
• California Crossing Park, 5198 Riverside Drive - to the construction site.

City of Irving staff continue to monitor parks and trails to ensure the safety of all users, and they may close any park or trail without notice to protect the community.
