Texas Tech University DFW Unveils New Facility in Irving

Irving, Texas. April 2, 2024 –

Texas Tech University DFW is set to unveil its new facility in Irving, Texas, with a grand opening event on Wednesday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The facility, located at 4201 State Highway 161, will showcase its state-of-the-art features including classrooms, reception space, and a conference center.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the facility through guided tours scheduled at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. The open house aims to attract leaders from various communities, educational partners, and Texas Tech alumni to learn about the online programs offered at the DFW campus and the 10K Degree Program.

Texas Tech University's new site in Irving offers hybrid online academic programs, student services, meeting spaces, and event services. It seeks to strengthen community partnerships to support local education and regional economic development.
