Irving's Unemployment Rate - Lowest Rate Since Early 2009

Irving, Texas. January 24, 2012 –

The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce informs that Irving's unemployment rate declined again in December to 6.8% from 7.1% in November. 

This is the lowest rate Irving has seen since early 2009.  This compares favorably to both the State of Texas unemployment rate of 7.8% and the U.S. unemployment rate of 8.5%.
