Dallas College will host a free concert celebrating the music of renowned African American composers on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The event will take place at the North Lake Campus Performance Hall, located at 5001 N. MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75038.
The concert will feature music by esteemed composers such as William Grant Still and H. Leslie Adams, along with performances by the North Lake Jazz Ensemble. The evening will showcase the talents of Dallas College faculty, students, and guest performers, offering a vibrant tribute to the legacy and significant contributions of African American artists within classical and jazz music traditions.
Following the performance, a reception will be held, and all members of the community are warmly invited to attend.
