Irving High School senior Shanice Hopkins officially signed her intent to play volleyball at Brookhaven College next year.
Her proud parents attended the special ceremony in the Irving High School Library.
Shanice is a three year varsity letterman in volleyball, recipient of the September 2011 Hero of the Week interview by channel 4, and named the Dallas Moring News Area Leader in Volleyball for seven consecutive weeks for her kills and blocks on the court.
She also recently received a 2011-2012 Volleyball Booster Club Nita Munn-Vannoy $1,000 scholarship from Irving Schools Foundation.
