Ten Irving High School Students Recognized by High Schools That Work

Ten Irving High School students have been recognized by High Schools That Work, with the prestigious High Schools That Work Award of Educational Achievement. 
 
The award is given to students across the nation who participate in the High Schools That Work initiative and complete a rigorous high school curriculum, and perform at a college and career readiness level. Students must take an assessment each year to meet or exceed the high standards set by High Schools That Work and earn an award. Students must perform well in academics and technical programs of study to earn the award.
 
The Irving High School students who will receive the award are:
 
Ogbeyalu Kelechi Anya, Roman Anthony Avendano, Marco Antonio Fino, Miguel Garcia, Mario Hernandez, Thomas Malloy, Juan Menjivar Gonzalez, Nhi Tran Uyen Ngo, Adolfo Olide, and Carlos Raudez.
