Early on November 12, 2025, North Richland Hills police responded to reports of a wrong-way driver near Chisholm Trail and Reatta Court. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the 61-year-old driver fled north on Rufe Snow Drive.
The pursuit lasted approximately three minutes and ended just south of Bursey Road when the suspect’s truck collided with a utility pole and flipped. North Richland Hills Fire Department crews extricated the man and transported him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver faces charges including DWI (3rd or more), evading arrest, and an active warrant from Pardon and Parole. Rufe Snow Drive was closed for about 90 minutes while Oncor crews addressed the downed power pole. The suspect’s name and booking photo are not being released at this time.
