Celina, TX – On November 18, 2025, Celina Police Chief John Cullison addressed the public regarding the ongoing investigation into former Celina ISD teacher and coach William Caleb Elliott. Chief Cullison emphasized that the case remains active and that any new evidence will be thoroughly reviewed and investigated in accordance with the law.
Following media statements by attorneys representing various law firms claiming new evidence related to the case, Chief Cullison issued letters to four law firms seeking formal submission of any information. At a media event near the Collin County Courthouse, State Representative Mitch Little, affiliated with Scheef & Stone, LLP, claimed knowledge of an alleged “confrontation” between school representatives and Elliott, occurring prior to reported locker room incidents. Similarly, the Herz Law Firm stated in a November 21, 2025 release that Celina ISD had prior awareness of a teacher-student relationship and a previous recording incident at the middle school locker room.
Chief Cullison stressed that any evidence or witness information pertaining to criminal activity involving children must be provided directly to law enforcement. “When new information emerges in this case, we will review the evidence and file charges on behalf of these victims,” he said, urging attorneys and the public to follow proper channels.
Anyone with information related to the investigation is encouraged to contact the Celina Police Department at 972-382-2121. Confidentiality for those coming forward is guaranteed.
Chief Cullison concluded by thanking the community for their continued trust as the department pursues the investigation.
