Irving, Texas. October 19, 2012 –

Fourth grade students from 10 Irving ISD elementary schools recently participated in the annual disability awareness poster contest. The contest provided students the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents, while expressing how individuals with disabilities can use their strengths and abilities to be part of the community.

Entries were judged on the originality of concept and content. The posters are displayed at Baylor Healthcare System during the month of October, which is Disability Awareness Month.
