Irving, Texas. November 2, 2012 –

The Ranchview girls’swimming and diving team won its first dual of the season, beating Turner 110-69 in the annual C-FB Quad Meet last week. Co-Captain Sarah Rovi was the top performer for the Wolves, winning the 500 Free and 100 Back.  The girls lost their other two matches with Newman Smith 208-110 and Creekview 131-110.  The boys’ team fell short against Turner 108-103 due to a few key disqualifications.  Creekview won the overall boys title, beating Ranchview 255-103.  The Wolves also lost to Newman Smith 153-103.  Sinjin Venegas won the 100 and 200 Free to lead the boys’ team performances.  Eric Arumugam, who was 3rd in the 200 IM and 4th in the 500 Free, was named the team’s second “Athlete of the Week” for his event contributions and improved work ethic.
