UPDATE: Acorrding to Dallas PD, both juveniles were safely located.
After receiving the initial call at approximately 5 a.m. on August 5, 2026, Dallas Police began searching for two 5-year-old and 13-year-old girls last seen in the 1400 block of Belleview Street. When it was determined that the children met the criteria for a critical missing alert, Dallas PD shared the information with media partners and social media, which led to a Good Samaritan finding the 5-year-old girl and returning her to the location on Belleview Street. A short time later, officers and detectives from the Youth Operations/Missing Persons Unit located the 13-year-old girl in the 5900 block of Mountain Valley Lane. Both girls were evaluated by Dallas Fire-Rescue and transported to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center to confirm their wellbeing.
The Dallas Police Department thanks the Good Samaritan who recognized the younger child and returned her safely, and for the strong cooperation between the multiple patrol divisions and investigators who jumped into action to find these children.

DALLAS, Texas - The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public's help locating two critical missing juveniles who were last seen together early Wednesday morning.
According to police, 5-year-old A'mree Hines and 13-year-old Briasia Landrum were both last seen at approximately 5 a.m. on Aug. 5 in the 1400 block of Belleview in Dallas.
Investigators said the girls may be together and may be in need of assistance.
A'mree is described as a Black female with brown eyes and purple and pink hair styled in a ponytail. She is approximately 3 feet tall, weighs about 50 pounds and was last seen wearing a white shirt with yellow circles, light blue jeans and sandals. She was also carrying a small pink glittery backpack.
Briasia is described as a Black female with brown eyes and short blonde hair. She is approximately 5 feet tall, weighs about 100 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark blue short-sleeve shirt, blue and pink Playboy pajama shorts and carrying a small pink glittery backpack.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either child is urged to call 911 or contact the Dallas Police Department at (214) 671-4268.
