November 2, 2012 – Sophomore middle blocker Emily Caples and senior outside hitter Theresa Wohldmann have been selected All-Conference 'Second Team' by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). Appearing in 123 games and 34 matches, the 6-foot-2 Caples (Walnut Creek, Calif.) ended regular-season play leading Dallas in blocks (89), while ranking top-three in kills (308), kills per game (2.50), service aces (43) and service aces per game (.35). Caples is entrenched at No. 2 in the SCAC, with a .270 hitting percentage. The 2012 season has seen the 6-foot Wohldmann (Florissant, Mo.) total 110 games in 33 matches played. Wohldmann leads Dallas and the SCAC with 3.42 kills per game. Tallying 1,536 career kills, she is the Crusaders' career leader in the category. Her 496 kills in 2010 hold weight as the single-season school record.
