Melissa Hantelmann went 2-3 as Irving took home a 6-1 victory over S.A. Central in seven innings at Aledo High School on Friday.
She singled in the second and fourth innings.
McKensie Goodman racked up seven strikeouts in the Irving win. McKensie Goodman allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks over seven innings.
The game was never in doubt after the third, as Irving scored three runs on a two-run double by Madison Goodman and a groundout by McKensie Goodman.
S.A. Central's lone run of the ballgame came in the third inning on an RBI single by M Contreas.
