Irving, Texas. March 4, 2013 –

Irving starter McKensie Goodman doesn't need much run-support when she is in the circle and she showed it on Friday at North Crowley against Cleburne. Seven strong innings by Goodman spurred Irving to a 2-1 victory over Cleburne in seven innings.

Daisy Martinez helped Irving take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Madison Goodman doubled to get on base in the sixth. She then went from second to third on a groundout by Ariana Garcia.

Cleburne's lone run of the ballgame came in the second inning on an error.
