Irving jumped out to an early lead on Arlington and captured a 17-5 victory on Saturday at North Crowley.
The game was decided quickly as Irving exerted its will early with 12 runs in the first three innings.
An error, an error, a bases loaded walk by Ariana Garcia, a walk by McKensie Goodman, a two-run single by Madison Goodman, an RBI single by Daisy Martinez, and an RBI single by Melissa Hantelmann during the second inning supplied the early offense for Irving.
Madison Goodman racked up four RBIs on three hits for Irving.
Even though McKensie Goodman allowed five runs over four innings she still recorded the victory. She struck out four, walked two and surrendered six hits.
Irving pounded Arlington pitching, as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 15 RBIs and nine runs scored.
Irving tacked on another four runs in the third. A passed ball scored Alexis Cruz to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Garcia's single, plating Brenda Chairez.
Irving increased its lead with five runs in the fourth. Chairez started the inning with a single, scoring Cruz. That was followed up by McKensie Goodman's double, scoring Muna Yowell and Chairez.
