Trade Show Technology Summit 2013 To be Held July 9th in Irving

Irving, Texas. June 5, 2013

The Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas will be the site for Trade Show Technology Summit 2013 (TSTS ’13), the premier showcase for technology used in events and trade shows. Produced by Imagine Exhibits, TSTS ’13 will be held July 9.

Through hands-on workshops, TSTS ’13 attendees will be introduced to the latest technology used for producing events and trade shows, and learn how to manage technology such as QR codes, mobile aps, virtual trade shows, social media, on-line asset management, interactive media and live stream video on electronic devices as simple as a mobile phone.

This one-day summit also includes a panel discussion from meetings industry leaders Michael Dominguez, Chair of Meeting Professionals International (MPI); David Dubois, President of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE); and Vicki Hawarden, President of International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM); a key note from Paul Bettner, Co-Creator of Words with Friends; and a closing session featuring Scott Klososky, an international technology speaker, entrepreneur, consultant, and author specializing in translating and bridging technology "mind gaps" to improve business processes.

“The best companies need the best tools,” says Ann Windham, Imagine Xhibits CEO. “We want to put meeting and event planners in the technology driver’s seat by introducing tools that can be used for all aspects of event management.”

“Association CEU credits can be earned, and of course, there will be time to network with peers from all aspects of the meetings and events industry.”
