The resurgence of auto sales can be felt in the heart of DFW through the $15 million expansion at Toyota of Irving auto dealership. As the fourth oldest dealership in the region, the family owned dealership will double the size of their facility and enhance the store image to meet the increasing customer demand.
Due to increased sales and to maintain high customer satisfaction scores, GM David Schoemaker and his team have modeled the new sales facility and service stalls off the best practices of dealerships across the state. The 54,000 sq. ft. expansion will bring the overall dealership up to over 87,000 sq. ft. expansion of sales, service and vehicle inventory areas.
After the estimated 18 months to complete the project, the LEED-certified facilities will allow the dealership to increase their staff by 20 percent, double the vehicle service capacity and allow for a 30 percent lift in vehicle sales.
David took over ownership from his father, Vernon Schoemaker earlier this year while his father remains on as a voting partner. And, the third generation, Jereme Schoemaker will begin his Toyota GM training in January 2014.
