Singley Students Teach Brown Elementary Students Code

To celebrate Computer Science Education Week last week, the video game design and animation departments at Singley Academy taught Brown Elementary students the basics of computer science through an initiative called The Hour of Code. High school students introduced computer science to elementary students using simple apps and programs, and they taught and monitored the younger students' progress as they became familiarized with coding. The Hour of Code is organized by Code.org, a public non-profit dedicated to expanding participation in computer science.
