Bank Robbery Suspect

Irving, Texas, December 22 – The Irving Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a bank robbery suspect. On Friday December 19, 2014 at approximately 10:25 a.m., the Irving Police Department responded to a bank robbery at the First Convenience Bank branch located inside the Kroger store at 7505 North MacArthur Blvd in Irving. The suspect passed the teller a demand note for money. The teller complied and the suspect left the store on foot with the money.


Detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for a similar bank robbery that occurred on Monday, November 24, 2014 at approximately 9:20 a.m. at the First Convenience Bank branch located inside the Kroger store at 3612 N. Beltline Rd in Irving. Furthermore, the suspect is also believed to be responsible for similar such bank robberies in Arlington and Grand Prairie in recent weeks.


The attached still images of the suspect were captured during the December 19 robbery. Detectives request that anyone who can identify the suspect pictured below or anyone with information regarding this case to call (972) 273-1010 and reference case number 14-27512. Additionally, tips may be sent by e-mail to ipdcrimetips@cityofirving.org. A $5,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect in these cases.
