Homicide Investigation

January 19, 2015 – Irving, TX – On Sunday, January 18, at approximately 11:17 p.m., the Irving Police Department responded to the 2300 block of W. Tenth Street on reports of a shooting. Officers arrived to find Domingo Camargo, 31 years-of-age, inside a vehicle and suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital and pronounced deceased.


Detectives have conducted a preliminary investigation and learned the victim was attending a party at a family member’s home. While there, the victim was involved in an argument that escalated to a physical fight. Once outside, the victim got into a vehicle and was fired upon several times, struck and killed.


The investigation has resulted in the identification and arrest of Danny Ray Pacheco, 31 years-of-age, as the person responsible for the shooting. Pacheco is currently being held in the Carter County Jail, Ardmore, Oklahoma on a charge of murder. His bond has been set at $1,000,000. The investigation is still ongoing.
