Womens Business Council Southwest Announces Parade of Stars Awards Gala

The Women's Business Council – Southwest (WBCS) announces the award winners honored at the Parade of Stars Awards Gala last night, an evening honoring Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and Sustaining (Corporate) Members who go above and beyond to ensure the successes of women-owned businesses. These members support Women’s Business Enterprises through advocacy, volunteerism and sponsorships, and were stars for the night! It also recognizes the corporations and government agencies that provide Women’s Business Enterprises with growth opportunities in today’s competitive marketplace.  The event was held on February 5th  at 6:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.

The following awards were presented:

Bob Shapard, Chairman and CEO accepted the award.

  • WBE Volunteer of the Year presented to Donna Hegdahl, President of The TransSynergy Group.
  • Corporate Volunteer of the Year presented to Todd Christenson of Energy Future Holdings.
  • Regional Volunteer of the Year presented to Ann Riley of Sandia National Laboratories.

In addition to the awards presentation, the event featured a red carpet moment, cocktail reception, seated dinner, glow it up game, raffle prizes, silent auction and an after party with dancing.
