Famous Candy Maker Celebrates Grand Opening of its Fundraising and Business Gifts Center
Irving, TX – February 3, 2015 – See’s Candies (See’s), one of the most trusted and timeless candy makers, will celebrate the grand opening of its new Quantity Discount (QD) shop in Irving, Texas on February 20th.
Serving as a Fundraising and Business gifts center, the shop, located at 7775 N MacArthur Blvd., will offer discount pricing on select items to qualified customers who are placing large orders or buying in bulk for their fundraising and corporate gifting needs. The shop will also offer See’s full product line of more than 100 varieties of candy for customers to come in and enjoy.
“We are thrilled to open our first Texas QD shop in Irving and welcome the community to the See’s family,” said Ann Ostrander, V.P. of Candy Shops for See’s Candies. “For over ninety years, we have carried on the traditions first set by Mary See and we look forward to sharing these with the residents of Irving.”
The Irving shop will feature everything from the iconic black-and-white checkered décor to the friendliest customer service in Texas. American-made and famous for deliciousness, See’s candies are made from scratch using only the best quality ingredients and no added preservatives – all of which are gluten free. At the candy counter, guests can create custom boxes of chocolates and candies to keep or wrap up and gift to others. The new shop will also continue the See’s tradition of providing each guest with a free piece of chocolate upon arrival.
As if it couldn’t get any sweeter, to celebrate the grand opening, See’s Candies will be hosting an open house event on February 18th from 6-8pm. Guests will be able to preview the 2015 Spring Fundraising line, meet See’s Fundraising and Business Gift Specialists, and receive See’s volume discounts with no minimum purchase requirements on select products throughout the shop! To round out the grand opening celebrations, a ribbon cutting will take place at 9:30 a.m. on February 20th. The See’s team will also be handing out free lollypops and hats for kids as well as giving away See’s totes to the first 100 customers.
