Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is continuing its tremendous growth record for the New Year. If you are looking to travel to Mexico, Latin America, and beyond, be sure to add this new service to your list.

Interjet, a popular airline from Mexico, begins nonstop service from DFW to Mexico City on March 3, 2016. The new service offers two daily flights from DFW Airport, departing at 6:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

As travel to Mexico continues to flourish, the new route option helps meet the growing demand of travelers between these two cities that share strong economic, cultural, and leisure ties. With Interjet offering an extensive network of low-cost fares to 48 destinations across the United States, Central and South America, DFW Airport is providing its customers with even more choices to accommodate flexible schedules and varied price points.

Interjet’s current fleet is comprised of 41 Airbus A320’s and 19 Superjet 100’s, making it one of the youngest and most modern fleets among all Mexican carriers. Interjet customers receive free checked bags up to 50 kilograms, additional legroom, and discounted rates for passengers over the age of 65.

DFW Airport has strategically focused on global expansion and world-class amenities, attracting 11 new international carriers and 22 new international destinations in the past five years. Interjet further solidifies DFW Airport as a key entry point into the United States and strengthens connectivity to Central and South America.
