Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the brave officers who were killed or injured Thursday night and whose lives will be forever changed. Every day, we are thankful to the men and women in blue who put their lives on the line to protect the safety of all residents.
On an especially difficult day like today, we want police officers in Dallas and across our entire state to know that we are thankful for your service and your sacrifice. The City of Irving stands behind the men and women of the Dallas Police Department and the City of Dallas.
