Beginning Friday, Oct. 28, the southbound lanes of Las Colinas Boulevard, from Fuller Drive to O’Connor Boulevard, will be closed for new utilities work and new roadway pavement. Two-way traffic will be in place on the existing northbound side. This work, the first part of Phase 1, will continue through at least February 2017. A letter was distributed to area residents Oct. 7 describing the project, and it included a map with all phases of the project.
After the southbound lanes have been completed, two-way traffic will be moved to the new pavement and the northbound side of Las Colinas Boulevard will be improved.
Motorists should expect heavy traffic in the area and are advised to seek alternate routes when possible.
