On Friday, the students of Farine Elementary wrapped up Kindness Week with a special visit from Miss Texas 2016 Caroline Carothers. Students listened as she talked about her journey to the crown and the importance of respecting one another, perseverance and believing in yourself. This was the culminating event of a very busy week for the Falcons. Students practiced acts of kindness all week long through various activities, including hosting a food drive with Irving Cares and writing thank you letters to the school crossing guards, custodial staff and the school nurse.
