Irving-Las Colinas Chamber Hosted U.S. Senator Ted Cruz Business Roundtable

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz addressed members of the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce during his travels throughout the state. There, he discussed his efforts to advance policies that will lead to the creation of more good-paying jobs for Texans across the state, and participated in a Q&A with attendees. While visiting with the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber, John Gonzales, director of the Southwest/South Central Regional Office of the U.S Chamber of Commerce, presented Sen. Cruz with the U.S. Chamber’s “Spirit of Enterprise Award” in recognition of the pro-growth, pro-jobs policies he has advanced during his time in the Senate.

At the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, Sen. Cruz said: “I was delighted to visit with the Irving chamber this morning,” Sen. Cruz said. “These local leaders and job creators are fighting every day to create good-paying jobs and provide expanded opportunities for their communities. The number-one priority of Texans is jobs and economic growth, which is why I’ve fought every day in the Senate to reduce regulations and simplify the tax code, which makes it easier for businesses to thrive and raise wages.”
