Youth, ages 11-17, will enjoy competing in this two-week, Olympic-style Summer Games. From water volleyball to basketball and team sports to one-on-one activities, there is a competition for everyone.
During practices, participants will learn various sports techniques, such as exercises that increase strength and endurance, as well as lessons in teamwork that will help lead them to victory.
Each recreation center will be represented by an official Summer Games team. Medals will be given to winners. All levels of play are welcome.
Week 1 – Team Sports
- 9 a.m., July 24 – Irving High School Tennis
- 1 p.m., July 24 – Lively Pointe Chess/Dominoes
- 9 a.m., July 25 – Senter Park Table Tennis
- 10 a.m, July 26 – Lively Pointe / Senter Park Indoor Soccer.
- 9 a.m., July 27 – West Irving Aquatic Center Water Volleyball
- 9 a.m., July 28 – Trinity View Park 7-on-7 Flag Football
Week 2 – Individual Sports
- 9 a.m., July 31 – Trinity View Park Kickball
- 10 a.m., Aug. 1 – Senter Park Volleyball
- 10:30 a.m., Aug. 2 – Lee Park Dodgeball
- 10 a.m., Aug. 3 – Mustang / Cimarron parks Youth Basketball
- 10 a.m., Aug. 4 – Georgia Farrow / Northwest Park Teen Basketball
