49-Year-Old Irving Man Murdered; Police Need Help Identifying Suspect

The Irving Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at a home in the 2200 block of W. Eleventh Street. At approximately 8:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to an unconscious person call and found an adult male deceased inside the home alone. The victim, 49-year-old Christopher Eugene Thomas, had been shot in an apparent act of homicide. 
 
Detectives are attempting to identify the person pictured in these surveillance images as a person of interest in the case. The motive for the shooting is unclear; however, based upon the initial investigation detectives do not believe there is a continuing danger to the community.
