Explore North Texas with the Teen Field Trip Series

Teens can get out of the house this summer and enjoy fun area attractions by registering for one of the weekly field trips sponsored by Lively Pointe Youth Center. With a variety of trip options, teens can test their skills at indoor rock climbing, learn about the history of video gaming, cheer on the Texas Rangers, or discover the unique sport of whirlyball.

Trips are scheduled each Tuesday (except July 6) throughout the summer, beginning June 6. The field trip series is open to youth, ages 12-17, and transportation is provided. Spaces are limited; registration begins May 30. Trip fee is $10 each.

Field Trip Series Schedule 

  • July 6 – Dyno-Rock Climbing Center, Arlington*
  • July 11 – WhirlyBall and LaserWhirld, Hurst*
  • July 18 – Ice Skating at Galleria Mall, Dallas*
  • July 25 – National Videogame Museum and Stonebriar Mall, Frisco

*Trip requires a parental waiver to be completed prior to departure.

 Interested participants may sign up online or in person at Lively Pointe Youth Center, 909 N. O’Connor Road.
