The theme of this year's convention is "Don't Give Up!".  They expect an attendance between 3,000 to 4,000 each weekend.

Highlighted throughout the program will be how God "supplies endurance" to all sorts of people, even today.   A series of talks will also use examples from nature as proof that we can all endure despite hardships.  Witnesses at their headquarters in Patterson, New York have produced a high-quality feature film based on Jesus' words written in Luke 17:32,  "Remember the wife of Lot."  The film will be played in three parts each of the convention days.

On Sunday morning, everyone in attendance will benefit from an encouraging discourse titled “Never Give Up Hope!”.

You can view a complete program schedule and watch a video about the convention.

Jehovah's Witnesses are well known in Irving for their house-to-house ministry.  Although some object to getting visits from Witnesses, one of the attendees to the convention said, "Jehovah’s Witnesses are a peaceable, law-abiding people. We strive to be model citizens and good neighbors in our community. Although some people do not fully understand our beliefs, we imitate Jesus in reaching out to them with our positive message, and the convention program highlights why."
