Sex Offender Arrested in Irving

A wanted sex offender was apprehended October 6th by law enforcement in Irving, Tx. 

Kenneth ROBLEZ ,38, was arrested today in Irving by members of the Irving Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force.

In a joint effort, the Grapevine Police Department, Irving Police Department, Dallas Police Department, Texas Attorney General’s Office and the North Texas Fugitive Task Force conducted a joint fugitive investigation.  

ROBLEZ was wanted for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Parole Violation for Indecency with a Child, and was a suspect in several other sexual related offenses involving children in multiple cities in the DFW area.  

ROBLEZ was taken into custody following his attempt to evade apprehension by leading investigators on a quick vehicle pursuit. After arrest, ROBLEZ was then taken to the Irving City jail. 

U.S. Marshals task forces combine the efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to locate and arrest the most dangerous fugitives.  In 2016, the U.S. Marshals Service cleared more than 107,000 arrest warrants.
