The Irving and Nimitz academic decathlon teams competed in the prestigious Rockwall Academic Decathlon Practice Competition this past weekend. Irving finished 11th overall and Nimitz 13th in a field of 47 teams from all over Texas and Arizona. Irving ISD academic decathlon teams will host a practice invitational meet this Saturday at Irving High School.
