Brion Lopez threw a game-winning 29-yard touchdown to Jose Feliciano with 25 seconds left as MacArthur won a thrilling cross-town rivalry game over Nimitz, 36-33, at Irving's Joy & Ralph Ellis Stadium on Friday night.
Lopez threw for 236 yards and four touchdowns for MacArthur (2-8, 1-6; District 7-6A). Feliciano had five receptions for 61 yards and two touchdowns.
Adan Ponce threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns along with 54 rushing yards for Nimitz (1-9, 0-7). Christian Nelms had 16 carries for 175 yards and a touchdown, including a 37-yard scoring run with 1:50 left that gave Nimitz a 33-30 lead.
