With the season of giving underway, Irving-based Vistra Energy employees – including TXU Energy and Luminant team members – recently commemorated employees’ nearly $23,500 donation to the American Red Cross to assist with Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts.
The company also provided a $25,000 corporate donation to the Red Cross earlier this year and provided $500,000 in bill payment assistance through TXU Energy Aid to help customers in areas hit by Hurricane Harvey. In addition to monetary support for those impacted by the hurricane, employees and the company contributed hundreds of toiletries and clothing items to Irving Cares and Trusted World in Dallas.
