Sunder are proud to announce one of their own as the New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving’s (NPOI) 2018 Concerto Competition winner - varsity orchestra violinist Monica Limberg. As a freshman, Monica is one of the youngest concerto competition winners in quite a while, an honor usually awarded to juniors and seniors who exhibit extraordinary musical talent. Monica will be awarded a $500 scholarship and will be accompanied in solo by the NPOI Orchestra during their mid-winter concert on February 11 at the Irving Arts Center. She will take the stage to perform Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor by Jean-Baptiste Accolay.
