On Saturday, several Irving ISD DECA students competed in the District 11 Career and Development Conference in various categories. After a stellar district appearance, 36 students from Irving, MacArthur and Nimitz high schools are on their way to compete at the state conference, taking place February 20-22. DECA is an international student organization which prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
