After an outstanding showing at camp last week, members of the Nimitz High School Vikas dance team have earned invitations to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and in the 2018 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl Halftime show. Vikas officers attended the Showtime International Dallas Dance Officer and Social Leadership Camp, where throughout the three days of camp, students were pushed to their limit in terms of endurance, creativity, technique and teamwork. The dancers garnered many awards including excellent home routine, outstanding choreography, most diligent squad, most friendly team, most spirited and creativity as well as five-star ratings in each Dance Officer Line Status and Social Officer Line, earning the bids to perform on the big stage.
