DART Community Meeting in Irving Will Discuss Proposed Bus Service Changes

DART will hold an open house and community meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., in the City Council Chambers to discuss proposed updates to its bus service. The open house begins at 6 p.m., and the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.. Members of the community are invited to comment on the proposed bus service improvements.

Topics include Bus Route 504, connecting North Lake College Station to Downtown Irving/Heritage Station via Story Road; the overall DART 2045 Transit System Plan, which includes streetcar opportunities in cities and communities outside of downtown Dallas; and current projects such as the Cotton Belt line and the Cypress Waters Station.

Bus service changes, once approved, will be implemented in August 2019.
